2. Legal framework

We are established in the Dubai Science Park Free Zone (UAE) and comply with Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL) and its implementing regulations, supervised by the UAE Data Office.

When we process personal data of users located in the European Union, we also apply the safeguards required by the GDPR.

3. Data we collect

We only collect what is strictly necessary:

• Newsletter: name (optional) and email address.
• Contact form: name, email and message.
• Partnerships form: name, company, email, type and message.
• Technical and usage data: IP, device, browser and pages visited (analytics cookies).

4. Purposes and legal bases

We process your data based on the lawful grounds provided by the PDPL (Art. 4) and, where applicable, the GDPR (Art. 6):

• Consent: newsletter and non-essential cookies.
• Pre-contractual steps: replies to contact and partnership requests.
• Legitimate interest: site security, fraud prevention and aggregated analytics.
• Compliance with legal obligations applicable in the UAE.

5. Retention

Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Form data is kept up to 24 months after the last contact, unless legally required otherwise.

6. Processors

We rely on vendors that process data on our behalf under appropriate contractual and security safeguards:

• Web hosting and infrastructure.
• Email / newsletter delivery platform.
• Website analytics tools (Google Analytics 4).

7. International transfers

Your data may be transferred outside the UAE and the European Economic Area (EEA). We ensure adequate safeguards as required by the PDPL (Arts. 22-23) and the GDPR, including adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

8. Your rights

Under the PDPL and, where applicable, the GDPR you have the right to:

• Access, rectification and erasure.
• Restriction and objection.
• Data portability.
• Withdraw consent at any time.
• Lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office (https://u.ae) or, if you live in the EU, with your local data protection authority.

9. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction, in line with PDPL requirements.
